Osage, Iowa native and attorney, Scott Michels is well known for "going to the mat" for his clients. An Academic All-American and Academic All-Conference honoree in wrestling, Attorney Michels distinguished himself in his young career as a lawyer who is a zealous advocate for his clients who is satisfied with nothing less than the best possible outcome in every case.

Mr. Michels graduated from Osage High School and attended Upper Iowa University (Fayette, Iowa) graduating magna cum laude (the highest honor awarded). He has earned special certificates in Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Constitutional Law and Civil Rights. Attorney Michels also completed the Neal & Bea Smith Law Center, Drake Law School, Clinic in Criminal Defense. He is admitted to the Iowa State Bar, and both the Northern and Southern Districts of Iowa for the US District Courts.

In 2009, Attorney Scott Michels and his wife became the very proud parents of their first child, Braylon Michels.
